Moon Ji-ae, an Anchorwoman for Korean MBC News, was fired for laughing at the end of a live newcast on Jan. 7th:

As you can see, it was a small giggle, but considering it came shortly after a story about a warehouse blast that killed 40, it was enough to get her canned because of public outcry over it.

An MBC spokesperson has responded that they won’t be reinstating http://yeinjee.com/asianpop/korean-news-anchor-fired-for-laughing/ in near future for the news anchor post. Her works on other shows are however not affected at the moment.
