Produced intentionally campy with the look and feel of a very low budget, with awful writing and stilted acting, its run of over nine years attests to its success.

It has been written about in various publications including the Chicago Tribune, been a topic of discussion on talk radio, seen on the BBC in a program about American advertising, and featured on The David Letterman Show.

Spots can still be seen daily on Chicago television, most frequently on morning talk shows (apparently that’s when most bad drivers watch TV).
